Jim Peterson has been performing, recording, composing and arranging in the San Francisco Bay Area for over 25 years. Primarily a saxophonist (plays flute and clarinet as well), he is a dynamic, sought after musician with a wide range of playing styles.

As a world traveler, Jim has played with many well known musicians: Paul Jackson (Herbie Hancock), Herb Hardesty (Fats Domino), Don Byron, Jon Evans (Tori Amos), Stu Hamm, Kirk Joseph (Dirty Dozen Brass Band), Lee Alexander and Adam Levy (Norah Jones), and Dave Ellis, to name a few.
